" I have a 1988 Bayliner Ciera

" I have a 1988 Bayliner Ciera 22', with a 305, 230 HP. and a cobra outdrive. The problem is when I put the drive in forward, about 10 seconds later I hear a small clunk, this only does this at a forward idle and not in reverse. At full throttle it runs smooth, Like I said it only does it sometimes. should I be concerned. Any help would be very much appreciated.

"I would say that is a big reason to be concerned. You could have a bad clutch dog or something. You have a Cobra that had a bad run of gears, clutch dog, and shift cable. I would have it ck'd out.
