"Elk..... Double check that "Model" number and get back to us. The plate on the Port (left) transom bracket will have two sets of numbers. The first being the Model number, the second being the Serial number. THere is also a "Core Plug" (looks like a freeze out plug) on the powerhead about the size of a quarter that contains those two sets of numbers. The model number you state above does not relate to a 9.5hp Evinrude.

IT WAS THE WRONG MODEL #. IT IS AN EVINRUDE 9.5 HP OB MODEL # 9922S. I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT THE YEAR TO ORDER A REPAIR MANUAL. THANK YOU

So I replied via e-mail, but thought I'd paste the answer here also to, in effect, have closure to the question..... The engine is a 1969 9.5hp Evinrude.
