"Here is what I am dealing with - 1966 Sea King VWB-19096A with a constant current three phase alternator type generator. I can't find any info on this motor. I hooked up a new ignition switch using the instructions from the owners manual for a terminal switch. Black wire to B terminal, Blue to I terminal, Yellow to S terminal and green to the C terminal. Then it mentions that the red wire is ground. As soon as I connect the battery the relay starts clicking and when I try to start the motor and holding the switch in the start position the starter engages and disengages then engages again over and over. I have looked for shorts and changed the solenoid also checked the starter with jumper cables. I pulled the flywheel and inspected the points, there are 4 sets and one needed adjusting but after doing this I still had the same problem. I went to buy a manual and my local marine store didn't carry one. Desperately need to know the problem is."
