hi can anybody help me i have got a mariner 8hp i put new plugs in let it run 4 half ahoure looked at plugs again the top one was still clean but the bottom one was oiled/ dirty is this the way thay should b
 
Sounds like your motor is only

Sounds like your motor is only running on one cylinder.This is a fairly common fault on motors. Check to see if you have a strong spark on the top cylinder.You could also have reed valve problems.
