This usually costs much more than you might think. It depends on exactly which model you have. Some cannot be converted. Some require quite a few parts, but for engines in the 10-25 HP range, you can count on spending about $400 on parts alone.

Thank you for the input Tony. I will keep looking for a tiller handle 30-40 horse motor rather than think of converting one.
