Can anyone tell me were the kill switch is on a 2000 115hp 4-stroke yamaha. I started pulling the plugs after fogging it this weekend and couldn't find a kill switch or on/off switch on the engine. According to the owners manual there should be an on/off swithch that I can turn off and crank the engine while fogging the plugs.
Thanks for the help.

" Steve,

You should have a man overboard kill switch on your remote control box.

If you don't have this feature, you can crank the engine at the starter solonoid. As long as the ignition key switch is in the off position, your engine will not have spark.

" New to this board but it looks like this is what I was searching for. I have an electrical problem.I am
running twin Mercury outboards on 26' boat.. Port engine starts and runs
fine but tach does not work..(It is OK brand new)
Fuel gauge works fine. Starboard engine OK.
. When accessories (lights, horn, bilge pumps etc) are turned on the needle on fuel gauge drops
to zero.. Obviously I have a short or an open... Have cleaned all
connections.. Any suggestions ? "
