I own a 1987 17' SportsCraft with a 140 Hp OMC SeaDrive. It has frozen on me. I can get my hands on a 1990 250 Hp OMC SeaDrive at a great price. Can I mount the 250 Hp on my 140 Hp Bracket? Are they the same bracket? If this is not an option doyou recommend me to Rebuild the power head or maybe Fit the boat with a Engine mount and power it with a 1997 mercury I can also get for a great price?
