260 Mercruiser-Need to know how to remove from transmission!!
 
"First remove the sterndrive,

"First remove the sterndrive, very simple six locknuts, and disconnect the trim hydraulic cylinders , speedo tube if equiped on the drive and a overhead hoist of course. Then to remove the engine you have to disconnect all auxillaries two rear mounting bolts and two locking nuts.

I assume by this question that you do not have a service manual. I may be able to email you the info from my service manual if you wish. What year is the engine? Just email me @ [email protected] or post on this site."
