Fitted this engine to my boat

Fitted this engine to my boat and does not seem to charge it could be bullet connections or a fuse fuse seems to be on circuit panel under the cover is that part of charging system I need the right colour bullet info...i think..

Assuming that you are sure the battery is OK; usually with outboards it's a bad rectifier that causes it not to charge, but still allows it to run well. Or are you saying that the wiring has been tampered with and you don't think it's wired correctly? Also, I'm wondering if your tach is working as that's a sign of a bad rectifier as well.
