Test Wheel 1992 30hp Evinrude Part #

336611 might do it.-----What is your motor doing / not doing?----What trouble shooting was done?
The cam throttle control had worked loose and fell off. After re-installing I did my best to synchronize and adjust the linkage. Still can't get a smooth idle and it has a stall/jerk on acceleration. On WOT no hesitation at all.

The service manual recommended a test wheel for setting the maximum spark advance. Realizing I can adjust the timing without a test wheel, I was curious how much a test prop for this model cost. After you previous post, which by the way thank you, I found one on ebay for $395. Definitely not a necessity or worth the value on a motor this old.
Any other suggestions for addressing my performance issues? Thanks again.

If running in a tank, remove the prop entirely. You will otherwise aerate the water so much that the cooling pump won't be able to supply sufficient water to the engine.
