Hi

After advice on which is the best quality shifter boot for my MC1?

I replaced all boots about two years ago and the shifter boot has disintegrated. Is this normal or should it last longer?

How can I extend the life of the boots.

Funny, My Mercruiser OEM shift cable bellows is over 10 years old....
My boat is in fresh water every summer from late June to Early Sept as I keep it at a friends dock.

Agreed I just changed my original OEM bellows on my 2004 boat, still in decent shape.

to OP use oem merc bellows
