Main fuse issue - 97 50 (J50TLEUC)

Guys I am stumped on this one. Main fuse keeps blowing, appears to happen when key is turned. Replaced starter solenoid; replaced key switch, thought perhaps it was the trim wire in the controls so disconnected harness to that. Even changed the rectifier: I would like to disconnect each circuit and test that way but cannot seem to find any diagrams specific to my motor, not clear on exactly what draws on that fuse to troubleshoot. Seems to be a common issue any tips would be greatly appreciated
 
Check the main harness from control box to the plug on the motor.----Look for plastic that may have been hot / melted.
