DF15A pink tube

Hi,
ihave just noticed a pink tube coming out of the port side cover on a new DF15A and was wondering if anyone had a idea oh what it is for. It comes out of the port side leg cover near the transom mount. The far end is connected and sealed, if I suck on it I do not draw any air. I have been through the owners manual as well the exploded parts diagrams and cannot see it

any suggestion before I go back to the dealer will be appreciated

I can see the drain tube connected and it seems to head down the leg it is very similar to the tube I am looking at. We will ask the dealer tomorrow when they open, and I will update this post
cheers

It is a breather tube for the gearbox, it is meant to attach to a plate on the the underside of the cowling, but it is a loose fitThanks for your interest and suggestions

This is not a breather tube for the gearbox, it is a drain tube for part of the fuel supply. This image shows where it is supposed to be placed when it's not being used.

As far as I know the gearbox on these motors (DF9, DF15, DF20) is sealed with no breather, just the two drain/fill openings.
