2000 evanrude 9.9 hp 4 stroke carberator discontinued what to do

Your location ?-------Can you not repair your carburetor ?----Is the casting broken ?-----What is your motor doing / not doing?-----How did it run last season?----And what trouble shooting was done if any ?
 
So cal, I had it rebuilt I was told carburetor was bad but doesn’t know why he checked compression was great runs good for a little while then starts to putt out , I bought it that way never seen it run right
 
Operate the manual fuel pump and see if it keeps running.----I doubt you need a new / replacement carburetor.-----Water pump impeller replaced ?
 
The rubber squeeze thingy on the hose is a manual fuel pump.-----No reason to have to replace a simple carburetor like that !!
