OEM parts incorrect or gearbox foreign bearing carrier

recently purchased gearbox bearing carrier shaft seals to suit 1982 70hp evinrude and they appear to be too small.
current seal ~41mm OD and ~ 29mm on ID and new seals part #321467~ 35mm OD and 24mm on ID.
Hopefully image attached tells the story.
any thoughts on the mystery??

I see. I have also order a whole bunch of seals and water pump kit for an overhaul of the gearbox from the parts diagram that is evinrude 1982 70hp gearcase 15”. Can you point me to the correct parts diagram I should be using?
I feel I now need to check what other parts are incorrect.

Those 15" motors used a 50 HP gearcase.----What internal parts did you order ?-----Just order parts for 20" motor.----And work with a dealer that can help!!
