Hey guys I’m having a little issue and hoping for some insight.
My motor is a 2009 Yamaha 200 HPDI
Here’s the issue I’m having with it. When I launch the boat and start it to idle around it will die. It will start back up just fine and then wanna die again, but if I give it a little gas it will stay running a little better but will then choke out again. After I pick up my partner at the dock and take off the boat runs fine and will not die or sputter at idle again the rest of the day. It’s just that initial startup and idling around it when it shows it head. Otherwise the motor runs like a top. Any ideas or suggestions to what me be causing this? Thanks in advance for any replies.. BTW brand new plugs installed last summer.
