I've owned and wrenched on countless 2 strokes (mostly all OMC) since the early 80s but just purchased my first 4 stroke. It's a 2000 Evinrude 40hp. Model E40PL4SS. I know Suzuki built some 4 strokes around this time but unsure of this model?? Any input on this motor. Things to look for, trouble shoot etc. Total noob to 4 stroke outboards. Thanks for any advice
