So the trim switch on the motor works fine. No issue there. The switch in the cabin isn't working. For a while down worked fine but up didn't. Now neither work from inside. What should I look for? How should I troubleshoot without a meter.

Thanks

Hi it would be best to try and take apart the switch.
Look into the contacts for corrosion.
If you say it worked one way and not the other I would start by inspecting the switch and take it from there.

First, check the No. 3 Fuse and make sure it is good.

If so, find the three-prong plug to your console T/T switch and unplug it. There will be a light blue wire (up), a light green wire (down) and a white wire with a black stripe. With battery on, and key switch on, check for 12 volts on the W/B wire. If 12 volts there, shunt that wire to either of the other wires and it should activate the T/T motor. If so, your switch is likely bad. So, remove it and clean the contacts, or replace it. If no 12 volts, then the power wire is probably broken or disconnected between there and the T/T relay.
