I am able to hit 6000 rpm on this motor according to my tiny tac. Is that a problem for this motor? Change prop to lower rpms? Thanks for any info as not sure what it should be.
 
Assuming your model is MFS20E. Year is irrelevant. On p13 of your owner's manual, max WOT RPM should be 5400 to 6100. So you are OK.
 
Thanks for that! I missed that in the owners manual. Like a lot of men thats a last resort-reading the owners manual.
