My engine (4.3 mercruiser) starts up fine and runs with out issue. But when I go to drop anchor or dock my oil pressure can drop and cause a stall which leaves the engine unable to start for 15-20 minutes. Then it starts up just as before with out issues.
Notes:
-When idle and running fine the oil pressure is 40 . when running at speed just slightly above. When stalling it drops to 0 or less then 20 on gauge.
-temp is at 170 (which I believe is normal)
-I have changed the oil and oil filter. (quicksilver 25w-50) and correct filter (quicksilver 35-883702Q)
-Dip stick verified oil clean and no water.
I am hoping this is a oversight issue, but im not sure what I am missing.
