454 XL TBI Firing Order

Does anyone have a source document that states what the firing order for the 454 XL TBI engines is?

I believe Crusader uses a GM supplied intake manifold, and there is a firing order stamped on the intake. I just want to confirm that the firing order stamped on the intake is in fact the correct firing order, (I believe it is a standard GM firing order) and make sure that the cam is not calling for a 4/7 swap, like many marine engines do.

check the serial number plate...if its LH, the standard firing order applies...and some of the GM manifolds have both standard and reverse roation firing orders cast into them...probably older than yours though...

single or twin? both dist will turn clockwise so if its 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 thats a LH motor. A RH motor just reverses the order. easy way is to start at #1 and go counterclockwise 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 leaving you with a firing order 1.2.7.5.6.3.4.8. clockwise
