No spark 2002 Mercury 65hp jet drive outboard

Had a short in my wiring harness that went from ignition switch to the engine. It was fried from end to end. Cut through the decking and replaced. I’m still not getting any spark to the plugs and am wondering what else I may have shorted out? What should I check next and what is the best way to do so? Would appreciate any thoughts or ideas.

**Update**
Isolated the problem to the kill switch. It was fried as well. Disconnected the yellow/black wire at the engine and it fired right up.
