I have a tracker boat with mercury 40hp engine, just last week when I was in the lake, there was some water get into boat duo to live well clog and after that I couldn't turn my engine on again.
I went back home and opened the engine cowl and find 15amp fuse blew, so I bought new 15amp fuses but every time I start engine, I heard bee---- then the same fuse blow, every time after I replace new 15amp, the electricity actually works, I can lift up and down the engine from the console side, so I am assuming the short happening on the ignition side, but I'm not really sure... any one has any suggestions? Any good way to trace this issue?
