2008 Honda BF90D fault code 23?? Please help

New to boating, recently purchased a 2008 sea fox with a Honda BF90D. When we run the boat at idle after launching it appears to have no issues. Once we give it full throttle to get it up on plane, we get a check engine light and a repeating alarm. We turn the motor off and connect our code reading adapter. We are getting what we believe is fault code 23 (two long blinks and 3 rapid blinks) which is a knock sensor malfunction correct? Is the knock sensor faulty or do we have a bigger issue inside of the motor? With the check engine light and alarm going off, we are still able to run the boat as normal back the dock with no issues. We are basing the code off of another post for a 200-225 honda, are the codes the same? Thanks in advance for the help.

Problem solved. Yes code 23 is a knock sensor even for a bf90. The harness had not been pressed on hard enough at some point. Just needed to be pressed on till it clipped. Took boat out today. Ran great for 2 hours. Now waiting for water impeller pump kit.
