Hey everyone, I just picked up an early 2000’s fiberglass v hull (15’ grew sportster). The 50 hp 4 Stroke motor on it was toast, so I’m putting a 1995 50hp 2 Stroke Evinrude triple on it) this motor is also new to me and it came without a prop.
I have a few props on hand to try out. (16 and 17 pitch).
The tach is not hooked up yet, so I’ll only have my ears to tell me if the revs are high low.
any thoughts on if a 17 pitch prop is a good start for this boat/motor?
