In over my head with a stuck Meteor 2 motor

We bought a house last summer and with it came an old Crestliner with a Johnson Meteor 2 motor attached. Today we pulled it out of the barn and gave it a good cleaning. It was last registered in 1991. We finally got the cover off the motor and cleaned out the mouse house, the wiring all looks ok but the flywheel is rusted like crazy and the motor wont turn, tried pulling to cover off the flywheel and tried barring it over and its stuck tight. Any advice for breaking it free? The boat needs A LOT of work but if the engine is toast then its not worth spending a small fortune on rehabbing. Oh yeah this is my first boat so I'm learning as I go.

Check pol in the gearcase.----Motor will have to come apart for a complete evaluation.----Model # of the motor is ?

Unless your into restoring and nostalgia...dump it and get a later model

It will be a lot of work I think.

finally had time to look, model is "V4ML-11c" 90hp 1965. I'm in the process of disassembly now.
