Does one use an electric outboard motor while fishing?

Hello, everyone,
I am going to prepare new fishing activities in the nearby lakes. I am curious if an electric outboard motor is a good fit for fishing in small boats or not. Our small boats are shorter than 18ft. Any one might provide any experience of Torqeedo, or ePropulsion?

They are not fast. If you don't mind walking speed, then yes. They are capable of getting you up on plane but you'll run out of battery mighty quick.

Thank you very much. Yes, you are right, the speed will be slow. It is also one factor that causes some hesitation here.
