I brought my boat & motor from sea level to Colorado with an elevation of about 9000 feet. The engine starts but will not run. I was told I need to switch out the carburetor high & low speed jets. I can't find out what size jets I need for this elevation. Can anyone help?

First the facts.----How did the motor run at sea level ?----Did it push the boat properly at sea level?------What size high speed jets are in the carburetors now?

It was recently tuned up at sea level & was running fine. I don't know what jets are presently in motor. One person suggested #52 high speed jets & #29 low speed jets (suppositively for 6000 ft - 10000 ft elevation) but stated that needed to be confirmed.

The book shows # 65 or #64 so I would suggest #60 jets.------But there must be a local friendly shop to assist you.----But shops that work on older 2 strokes are becoming rare I think.
