I have been using a Walmart Everstart # 29DC deep cycle with 845 Marine Cranking Amps as my starting battery. I also have my depth finder and lights connected. I do not use my lights as I’m home before dark, a day use boat. Been having trouble with battery and this is the 3rd one I’ve purchased.
I cannot use an AGM, only flooded because of my CDI ignition. What battery would be the best but can also get me home if I need starting power out on the water?

Ayuh,..... You don't say what the Problem is,......

If it goes dead over the course of a day on the water, 'n you've tried 3 different batteries,....
My guess is, yer motor is Not chargin' the battery,.....
