Just bought 40 mercury s/n above and the idle screw is 1 inche above adjustment stop . I know previous owner had a problem with a link rod but I replaced it but same problem as before replaced. Cannot adjust idle . Something is messed up. Need help I've tried all I know, have manual but no help, any help would be appreciated, Beamer50
