Terminal Block #2

I am having issues with a parasitc draw. It has traced back to #2 on the terminal block. drawing 1.7 when nothing turned on. iThe number 2 wire goes to the main connecter plug which then goes to the battery. If you disconnect the main wire going to the battery the 1.7 goes away and has zero draw. The number 2 wire is not connected to the rectifier so not sure if that is the problem. The engine starts fine. Any help on this would be appreciated.

its a 1973 evinrude 65hp . I traced the wire from #2 and it does go into the rectifier. My manual says that factory says the three wires from the recitfier should be going to #1#3and #5. as far as I know the rectifier is the only part that is live all the time. so sure looks like it might be the culprit.
