I bought a sail boat 1995 with an outboard BF50 and the tachometer doesn't work. I removed it and now I am wondering if there is a way to test it out of the boat? There are two wire Red and White for voltage and another set of 3 wires Gray, Black and black-Yellow.
Can I also check a signal on the boat from these 3 wire?
