My boat is a 1986 Sea swirl I/O. I discovered water on board this past weekend. Motor was not running at the time. I thought the best way to trace it was to put some water in it once it was out of the water on the trailer.
I am a rookie so I'm not sure of part names and such. After putting only an inch or maybe two of water in the bilge directly it started to drip off of the lower case. The water was coming from a little hole just south of the water inlet holes.
Obviously, a bad seal somewhere. I was thinking I would get a little feedback from someone out there before I take on this job.
