Considering an external fuel filter (ex. 10 micron).
NOTE: I believe there is only one fuel filter under the motor cowling.
Is this 10 micron too restrictive/not recommended for this size motor?
My thoughts are that the 10 micron external fuel filters can be too restrictive for the smaller/portable size motors, as their fuel pumps are not of sufficient size to suck/pump fuel through this type filter.
Thoughts?
Does Yamaha make an external filter for this size motor? I know they make a 10 micron fuel/water filter but my thoughts are that they are for the larger, non portable, motors.
