1995 200hp Yamaha outboard wont turn off with key

Hello all.. This is Capt.Jay from Plant city florida and I have little Issue.. I have had one of my yamaha's that wont turn off with the key. the gauges turn off but engine still runs.. so I thought it was in the dual key switch.. I bought OEM yamaha dual key switch and installed it, which is plug and play.. however it did nothing to cure the problem..The starboard motor has no issues, but the port is the problem.. I was wondering if anyone knows what color wires that comes off the back of the switch is the one that kills the motor, that way maybe I can run a OHM check from the key to the motor.. and any other info about what could cause this would be appreciated.. The white wire is grounded to stop the motor from running.

Does the kill switch turn off the motor? It uses the same white wire.
