trim pump

I posted last year regarding my 1971 sea swirl Mercruiser trim pump. Is there an upgrade, since I can't find a replacement or a kit to rebuild it? I thought someone mentioned their was a way to upgrade.

Ayuh,....SEI sells current issue replacement pumps, fairly reasonably priced,......

You'll have to replumb yer return oil circuit, 'n get rid of the reverse lock, 'n trim indicator, if so equipped,....

You end up with 2 lines, one from the pump to the transom, 'n one from the transom to the pump,.....
