I have a 1968 Evinrude 55 HP # 55873R, and I’m installing a new oiler wick and the service manual and parts listing does not call out what type of oil and how many drops it requires. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
 
I thought those wicks came in a little plastic wrapper and pre-lubricated.------About 3 drops of 3 in 1 oil will do it.----Or squeeze some vaseline into it.-
