2003/3412E marine cat ET diagnostics

Had cat ET diagnostic “injector test” . This appears to be the electrical side of the injector and not the mechanical . Would an individual injector cutout and noting rpm drop type of test give a better analysis of individual inj/ cyl performance
and can cat ET do that
