Left Field Question on Throttle Cam Roller

I did a search, no joy, I've got an '87 Force 85hp, new acquisition and going through it with carbs overhauled, new fuel pump diaphragm, new impeller. Now for the adjustments, the throttle cam roller doesn't touch the cam at the mark like it's supposed to, my question is can I install a slightly oversized OD nylon roller without throwing a wrench in the works, I was looking for a 7/16 OD but only found a 9/16 OD that would fit the eccentric screw. My thinking is that it shouldn't affect anything as it would be making contact where it needed to be Thanks in advance

I saw and watched that video the other day. I took the nylon and affixed it in my drill and took it from 9/16" OD down to between 7/16" (target) and 1/2" using 80 grit paper then 400 grit to smooth out and polish. It's ready to go on and do the adjustments
