1997 Johnson 115 fast

Should go 45 MPH at least.-----How did it run last season ?-----Start with a compression test.----Then check spark.----Sounds like it is running on 3 of 4 cylinders.
 
Around 5300 rpm with a137/8x19 prop and around 5200 rpm with a 131/4 x17 prop My boat is a 17 foot aqua sport 1996 yes I’m using the trim And it’s fine I bought a gas
 
The RPM should be HIGHER with the 17" pitch prop.------Get the boat weighed.-----Check spark too.------Using oil injection ?----Oil consumption tested ?-----Or mixing 50:1 on it.
