Tohatsu 9.9 HP change to 15 HP

I have a 1998 Tohatsu model M9.9D (2-Stroke) motor and wonder if I can do something to change it to a 15 HP model? I looked at the parts for both motors and thus far everything I looked at was the same??? Thanks ..................

Throttle cam change is what you need.

The throttle cam part number 3M3637180 is the same in the 9.9, 15, and 18 HP motors ????

Yes that will give you what you need. Prop accordingly, you don't want to over rev.
