Hi all
New here so hi to you all. I have owned my 2004 BF150 from new and she is coming up on 2,500 hours so the boat and gauges are getting a bit tired with problems to hourmeter, fuel gauge and tacho. I think I can work my way through the first two but have not found the issue I have with Dr Google for the tacho.
Basically for the last few hundred hours the motor runs fine and I know the revs from the sound but at say 4000-4200 rpm the gauge will be well over 5000 rpm. A few taps and it changes to normally the correct position. Figure while I am getting the other two in order I may as well have a crack at this.
Gauge is Faria brand.
Any ideas of what to test to start with would be appreciated.
Cheers Simon
