Out running on the river - boat was running well at 3/4 throttle and then it’s like she hit a wall. Attempts to restart weren’t successful on site. I rowed myself in a ways (that was fun) and finally got picked up and towed the rest of the way.
We’re on vacation, so I am some tools available. Tested compression and that’s there and even. Pulled the fuel line and pumped and there’s gas getting through. Don’t have any electrical tools with me except some needle nose. But I want to at least attempt to bypass the safety lanyard. Looks like two wires coming out, one grounded to block, one under the flywheel. Would I connect these wires to bypass? Disconnect one of them?
thanks in advance.
I know it’s not going to be a thorough check - but it’s all I can do for the time.
thank you.
