First time posting here! I've been having an exhaust temp alarm going off on my VP 300 5.7 CE-A motor (2013). We've replaced a quite a few parts and can't seem to find the issue. Alarm code is the EMWT #1 and #2. New circ pump, water pump, thermostat, sensors, risers/elbows. Boat throws alarm only at idle. When on plane no alarms, no over heating. In fact the boat doesn't over heat at all yet still throws an alarm. We are losing a small amount of coolant it appears. I am not sure where to go from here. We are going to look into head gasket, cylinder head, check compression and plugs possible coolant flush since there looked to be debris in it. Alarm only came on after we took boat out of water for 4 weeks for maintenance. Boat only has 180 hours been in salt water for 1 year of its life. Any help would be much appreciated!
