I recently got this Boat that came with a 70hp Nissan 92 model. they stated that they had it out on the water and then it just died and never started back up, they had to troll back in. I have searched High and Low for info on this morning which was a pain but got some OHMs and Volts guides for it. I went ahead and replaced the CDI box to no success. I have removed the Flywheel and by what I have researched there is a Magneto, Trigger and Exciter Coils there. but have no idea if one is bad. I can not find proper readings to diagnose them. It does have a Safety kill switch that I have already unplugged and no success there either. I was just going to buy new coils but they stopped making those items. ANY IDEAs on what it could be wrong to be not producing Power to the CDI unit? Thanks in Advance.
