The motor runs great
(mostely) , new impeller, thermo's,plugs,etc
Running for about 1 mi. and then alarm sounds off and goes into limp mode(?)
Back to idle and then it can be ran up again.
Not overheating(tested) pretty sure the oil system is the problem.
Cleaned both tanks and got the sludge out from the bottom.
I figure one of the sensors is the problem(?)
Opinions?? what can I test or just replace the sensors??
Thanks

Check your oil pressure. Your balancer may be disintegrating and clogging your oil screen in the sump. If this helps please let us know.

A 2004 150TXRC does not use a balancer.

A 2004 F150TLRC/F150TXRC/LF150TXRC does use a balancer.

OP refers to two oil tanks. Presumably the boat mounted remote tank and the engine mounted main tank. Leads me to believe he has a 150TXRC. The F150 series has an oil tank of sort. Referred to as an oil pan.

Only the main oil tank sensor will sound the alarm. When the float drops to nearly empty. A switch closes and provides a ground to the CDI assembly. In which case the alarm will sound and RPM reduction mode will be initiated.

When the alarm sounds immediately stop the motor. Remove the cowling. Check the main oil tank.
