Hello all,
My AQ205 in an 89 fairline sprint has a Saginaw type PS pump. This pump is leaking from mounting hole, not the inlet/outlet.
Rather than disassemble and replace seals, I'd rather swap for a non leaking pump which is as direct a replacement as possible.
My part is 838310, this was supposedly replaced by 855872.
The problem for me is neither of these is available at a reasonable cost in the UK.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience of an alternative part I can use? I see other saginaw type pumps which are very similar but have a curved inlet rather than a straight one like mine, no idea if these will take the same pulley and studs.
