1975 Johnson 9.9 hp. Starts on 2nd pull, but runs only 10-15 seconds.

Put a kit in the carburetor (new float, needle and seat. Also replaced the fuel pump. Still only runs a short time. It will start again, and again. Any ideas?
 
Thank you flyingscott for pointing me in the right direction. I had already tried adjusting low speed needle. But I did not remove the aluminum freeze plug looking cover over the chamber ( came in the kit) that the low speed needle feeds from. I found one of the small holes plugged, and one partially plugged. I opened them up with some very small drill bits with the carburetor still on the motor. It started, and ran a good long time before it quit. I'm going to go through the carburetor again after I find another cover.
