Back for help. Crate 350 in 1991 open bow, OMC King Cobra.
Ran great all summer. Last spring replaced dist Cap, wires, electrical ignition module under cap, and coil. Deep cleaned carb with Soak and Installed kit. I’ve used non ethanol gas exclusively for several years.
initially thought bad gas was issue, added fresh gas, happened again last night. Plus using same gas in Riding mower with no issues. I can slow down and seems to abate temporarily although sputtering will return. I tried wide open throttle and sputtered some but Powered through. Ran ok for few minutes then occred again ~2500 RPM. Didn’t die.
Wonder where to start.
Berrymans in carb? or remove and inspect?
Plugs?
Timing?
