2020 MFS 20E EFTS stumbles, stalls coming off WOT

22 hrs on engine. If I gradually decrease the throttle, no problem. But coming off plane at WOT, or close to it, engine sputters and or/stalls and CEL comes on. The only way to make it go off is to stop engine and restart; runs perfect after that. Dealer is about 2-hrs away, if this is something simple and inexpensive I'd like to handle it. Any ideas guys?
 
What is a CEL? The engine warning light? That can trigger form over rev, overheat, or low oil pressure.
 
Thanks, yes, engine warning light. What would cause the engine to stumble, sputter and almost stall, when coming off plane? Does the ECU store that info making it available for a dealer to see what happened?
